Jim Fetherston (James Steven Fetherston) was born on June 1, 1945 in Modesto, California. After going to high school at Turlock (CA), Fetherston attended Univeristy of California. Fetherston made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Jim Fetherston's best year.
