Jim Ferguson (James Thomas Ferguson) was born on October 15, 1942 in Oakland, California. After going to high school at Excelsior (Norwalk, CA), Ferguson attended Cerritos JC and the University of Southern California. Ferguson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 2 year career.
