Born on July 27, 1899 in Beatrice, Nebraska, Jim Faulkner (James Leroy Faulkner) played for the New York Giants and Brooklyn Robins over the course of his 3 year career. Faulkner broke into the bigs on September 15, 1927 with the New York Giants, and put up a 3.53 ERA in 117.1 innings pitched in 1928, his rookie year.
