Jim Dufft (James Henry Dufft) was born on June 25, 1896. After going to high school at Kelvin (Mount Vernon, NY), Dufft attended Fordham University and Rutgers State University of New Jersey. Dufft made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Rochester Jeffersons. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Rochester Jeffersons the entire time. Dufft also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Milwaukee Badgers the entire time.
