Jim Duckworth

Born on May 24, 1939 in National City, California, Jim Duckworth (James Raymond Duckworth) played for the Washington Senators and Kansas City Athletics over the course of his 4 year career. Duckworth broke into the bigs on April 13, 1963 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 6.04 ERA in 120.2 innings pitched in 1963, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Jim Duckworth's best season was 1965, when he posted a 3.94 ERA and struck out 74 batters.
