Jim Doyle (James Francis Doyle) was born on December 25, 1881 in Detroit, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on May 4, 1910 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .282 with 5 home runs and 62 RBI. Doyle played for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 2 year career.
