Jim Delsing (James Henry Delsing) was born on November 13, 1925 in Rudolph, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 21, 1948 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1950, his rookie year, he hit .269 with 0 home runs and 17 RBI. Delsing played for the Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Athletics over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Jim Delsing's best season was 1953, when he hit for a .288 average and knocked in 62 runs.
