Jim Crawford

Born on September 29, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, Jim Crawford (James Frederick Crawford) played for the Houston Astros and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 5 year career. Crawford broke into the bigs on April 6, 1973 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 4.50 ERA in 70 innings pitched in 1973, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Jim Crawford's best season was 1977, when he posted a 4.79 ERA and struck out 91 batters.
