Jim Collier (James Collier) was born on May 18, 1939 in Van Buren, Arkansas. After going to high school at Van Buren (AR), Collier attended the University of Arkansas. Collier made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the New York Giants. He played for the Washington Redskins and New York Giants over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Jim Collier's best year.
