Jim Canady

Jim Canady (James Maurice Canady) was born on January 14, 1926 in Austin, Texas. After going to high school at Austin (TX), Canady attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello and the University of Texas. Canady made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the New York Bulldogs and Chicago Bears over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1949 was Jim Canady's best year.
