Jim Cain (James Edgar Cain, Jr.) was born on October 1, 1927 in Eudora, Arkansas. Cain attended the University of Alabama. Cain made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Detroit Lions and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1950 was Jim Cain's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
