Jim Brown (James Nathaniel Brown) was born on February 17, 1936 in St. Simons, Georgia. After going to high school at Manhasset (NY), Brown attended Syracuse University. Brown made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1965 was Jim Brown's best year, as he ran for 1544 yards, ran in 17 TDs, ran for an average of 5.3 yards per carry and caught 4 TD passes.
