Jim Britton

Born on March 25, 1944 in North Tonawanda, New York, Jim Britton (James Allan Britton) played for the Atlanta Braves and Montreal Expos over the course of his 4 year career. Britton broke into the bigs on September 20, 1967 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 3.10 ERA in 90 innings pitched in 1968, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Jim Britton's best season was 1968, when he posted a 3.10 ERA and struck out 61 batters.
