Jim Baxes

Jim Baxes (Dimitrios Speros Baxes) was born on July 5, 1928 in San Francisco, California. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1959 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1959, his rookie year, he hit .246 with 17 home runs and 39 RBI. Baxes played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 1 year career.
