Born on December 10, 1887 in Athens, Tennessee, Jim Baskette (James Blaine Baskette) played for the Cleveland Naps for his entire 3 year career. Baskette broke into the bigs on September 22, 1911 with the Cleveland Naps, and put up a 3.18 ERA in 116 innings pitched in 1912, his rookie year.
