Jim Archer

Born on May 25, 1932 in Max Meadows, Virginia, Jim Archer (James William Archer) played for the Kansas City Athletics for his entire 2 year career. Archer broke into the bigs on April 30, 1961 with the Kansas City Athletics, and put up a 3.20 ERA in 205.1 innings pitched in 1961, his rookie year.
