Jet Fans Get Late Christmas Present as Tannenbaum Commits Highway Robbery!!

Jet fans, I hope you are all as excited as I am with the recent news, because GM Mike Tannenbaum has pulled off a heist of epic proportions for our team. 

We finally have our running back to replace the legend.  Thomas Jones is a great fit.  He is a top flight back that has rushed for 1200 + yards in the last 2 years.  His stats have been Larry Johnson level. 

And then, tack on the fact that we didn't even give up a player, that it cost us the 37th pick in the draft, and we received a pick in return!!  We have our top flight back.  Leon Washington can play the role that he is meant to play, that of third down back.

Watch out Patriots, we now have the back to shove down your throats when we need him.  I don't know about all other Jets fans, but I was dancing in my house when I saw the news.  Mike Tannenbaum for president!!  It is all joy in Jetville.

except for they won't make the playoffs. The Patriots are a lot better, and the Wild cards are going to the Second Place in the South and West.

I disagree. Did not take much contact in his first few years. I don't know that he will be effective all 4 years of his new contract, but I would expect 3 good years from him.

not a top flight back...but he gives it all game in-game out. i loved watching him play,and as a bears fan i don't understand how you can trade your best offensive player!??!!
