Jessie Armstead (Jessie W. Armstead) was born on October 26, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at David W. Carter (Dallas, TX), Armstead attended the University of Miami. Armstead made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Washington Redskins over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1999 was Jessie Armstead's best year, as he recorded 9 sacks.
