Jesse Hill (Jesse Terrill Hill) was born on January 20, 1907 in Yates, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1935 for the New York Yankees. In 1935, his rookie year, he hit .293 with 4 home runs and 33 RBI. Hill played for the New York Yankees, Washington Senators and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 3 year career.
