Jess Tinsley (Jess D. Tinsley) was born on October 18, 1908. After going to high school at Homer (LA), Tinsley attended Louisiana State University. Tinsley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 5 year career.
