Jess Eberdt (Jess Samuel Eberdt) was born on April 17, 1908 in Blytheville, Arkansas. After going to high school at Blytheville (AR) and Lakeside (Lake Village, AR), Eberdt attended the University of Alabama. Eberdt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
