Jerry Zeller (Gerald T. Zeller) was born on June 3, 1898 in , OH. After going to high school at Brazil (IN), Zeller attended Purdue University and the University of Illinois. Zeller made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Evansville Crimson Giants. He played for the Evansville Crimson Giants for his entire 1 year career.
