Jerry Zawadzkas (Gerald A. Zawadzkas) was born on January 3, 1946 in Torrington, Connecticut. After going to high school at Torrington (CT), Zawadzkas attended Columbia University. Zawadzkas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
