High School: Three-time all-area and two-time all-conference selection ... as senior played quarterback and safety en route to being named team Player of the Year ... completed 60 of 91 passes (66 percent) for 850 with 10 passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns ... caught five touchdown passes his junior year before suffering knee injury ... had 56 tackles and 12 interceptions as sophomore ... played for conference championship team his sophomore year ... coaches were Jeff Cavanaugh, Steve Madden and Casey Venne ... also participated in baseball, basketball, golf and track and field.
