Born on February 12, 1939 in Ada, Oklahoma, Jerry Walker (Jerry Allen Walker) played for the Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Athletics and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 8 year career. Walker broke into the bigs on July 6, 1957 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 2.92 ERA in 182 innings pitched in 1959, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jerry Walker's best season was 1959, when he posted a 2.92 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 100 batters.
