Jerry Stalcup (Jerry Newell Stalcup) was born on November 19, 1938 in Rockford, Illinois. After going to high school at East Rockford (IL), Stalcup attended the University of Wisconsin. Stalcup made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Rams the entire time. Stalcup also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.

Most people believe that 1960 was Jerry Stalcup's best year.
