Jerry Rush (Gerald Mitchell Rush) was born on August 7, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan. After going to high school at Central (Pontiac, MI), Rush attended Michigan State University. Rush made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1970 was Jerry Rush's best year.
