Jerry Rhome (Gerald Byron Rhome) was born on March 6, 1942 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at Sunset (Dallas, TX), Rhome attended Southern Methodist University and the University of Tulsa. Rhome made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns and Houston Oilers over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1970 was Jerry Rhome's best year.
