Jerry Priddy (Gerald Edward Priddy) was born on November 9, 1919 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1941 for the New York Yankees. In 1941, his rookie year, he hit .213 with 1 home run and 26 RBI. Priddy played for the New York Yankees, Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Jerry Priddy's best season was 1948, when he hit for a .296 average and knocked in 79 runs.
