Jerry Peterson (Gerald Ray Peterson) was born on October 8, 1934 in El Campo, Texas. Peterson attended the University of Texas and Wharton Country Junior College. Peterson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
