Jerry Niles (Gerald Maynard Niles) was born on May 1, 1919 in East Moline, Illinois. After going to high school at Clinton (IA), Niles attended the University of Iowa. Niles made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
