Jerry Nemecek (Jerald Cyrill Nemecek) was born on January 1, 1907 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Bellefonte Academy (Bellefonte, PA) and East Syracuse (NY), Nemecek attended New York University. Nemecek made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
