Jerry Mulready (John Jerome Mulready) was born on January 25, 1923 in Fargo, North Dakota. After going to high school at Central (Fargo, ND), Mulready attended North Dakota State University and the University of Minnesota. Mulready made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Chicago Rockets. He played for the Chicago Rockets for his entire 1 year career.
