Jerry Moses (Gerald Braheen Moses) was born on August 9, 1946 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. He made his Major League debut on May 9, 1965 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1969, his rookie year, he hit .304 with 4 home runs and 17 RBI. Moses played for the Boston Red Sox, California Angels, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, San Diego Padres and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 8 year career.
