Jerry Meyers (Jerry Edward Meyers) was born on February 21, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Lakeview (Chicago, IL), Meyers attended Northern Illinois University. Meyers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Jerry Meyers's best year.
