Jerry Mazzanti (Jerry Edward Mazzanti) was born on July 13, 1940 in Lake Village, Arkansas. After going to high school at Lakeside (Lake Village, AR), Mazzanti attended the University of Arkansas. Mazzanti made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1963 was Jerry Mazzanti's best year.
