Jerry Lunz (Gerald A. Lunz) was born on March 13, 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Marquette Academy (Milwaukee, WI), Lunz attended Marquette University. Lunz made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Frankford Yellow Jackets over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1926 was Jerry Lunz's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
