Jerry Helluin

Jerry Helluin (Francis Jerome Helluin) was born on August 8, 1929 in Houma, Louisiana. After going to high school at Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA), Helluin attended Tulane University. Helluin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Cleveland Browns. He played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 6 year NFL career.Helluin also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time.
Most people believe that 1953 was Jerry Helluin's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
