Jerry Fields (Jerry Eugene Fields) was born on May 24, 1938 in Ironton, Ohio. After going to high school at Coal Grove (OH), Fields attended Ohio State University. Fields made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the New York Titans. He played for the New York Titans for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1961 was Jerry Fields's best year.
