Jerry Doerger (Jerome William Doerger) was born on July 18, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at LaSalle (Cincinnati, OH), Doerger attended the University of Wisconsin. Doerger made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears over the course of his 2 year career.
