Jerry DeLucca (Gerald J. DeLucca) was born on July 17, 1936 in Peabody, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Peabody (MA), DeLucca attended Middle Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee. DeLucca made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Philadelphia Eagles the entire time. DeLucca also played in the AFL for 5 years, playing for the Boston Patriots and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 5 year AFL career.

Most people believe that 1960 was Jerry DeLucca's best year.
