Jerry Daanen (Jerome Daanen) was born on December 15, 1944 in DePere, Wisconsin. After going to high school at East (DePere, WI), Daanen attended the University of Miami. Daanen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1970 was Jerry Daanen's best year.
