Jerry Cronin (Jeremiah George Cronin) was born on December 12, 1909 in New York, New York. After going to high school at De La Salla Academy (New York, NY), Cronin attended Rutgers State University of New Jersey. Cronin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
