Jerome Walton (Jerome O'Terrell Walton) was born on July 8, 1965 in Newnan, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on April 4, 1989 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .293 with 5 home runs and 46 RBI. Walton played for the Chicago Cubs, California Angels, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Jerome Walton's best season was 1989, when he hit for a .293 average.
