Born on May 17, 1983 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, Jeremy Sowers (Jeremy Bryan Sowers) played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 2 year career. Sowers broke into the bigs on June 25, 2006 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 3.57 ERA in 88.1 innings pitched in 2006, his rookie year.
His identical twin brother, Joshua Sowers, is a right-handed pitcher who formerly played in the Toronto Blue Jays farm system.
Jeremy Sowers pitched very well in the second half of the 2006 season, but could not repeat this performance in the 2007 season, and was sent down to the minor leagues to sort out his mechanics.
