[edit] BiographyAcquired Signed as a free agent by Calgary on February 17, 2005. Broke the 1,000-yard receiving barrier for the third consecutive season, his first with the Stampeders...was second in team receiving yards with 1,211 averaging 18.9 yards per catch (career high with over 20 receptions)and receiving touchdowns with eight...recorded 173 receiving yards in a game against Winnipeg on August 6...Caught four passes for 88 yards in the Scotiabank West Semifinal against Edmonton. Played in 16 of 18 regular season games with Montreal including the Eastern Division Final vs Toronto...he was named to the Eastern Division All-Star team for the 2nd straight season...Jeremaine finished the season 6th in league and 2nd on the team in pass receiving with 83 catches for 1,154 yards...he also recorded 10 receiving touchdowns (tied for 3rd in the CFL, led team)...he recorded five 100 yard games...his biggest game of the season was vs the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on September 25 when he recorded 9 catches for 136 yards and 1 touchdown...Jeremaine also recorded big games near the start of the season in games 6 and 7...when he caught 7 passes for 119 yards, 2 touchdowns vs Hamilton and 4 catches for 103 yards vs the Lions...Jeremaine showed his athletic ability during games 15 and 16 of the season where he recorded 9 catches for 103 yards vs the Eskimos and 6 catches for 102 yards vs B.C the following week. Copeland had a break-out season for the Alouettes, leading the CFL with 1,757 receiving yards...He hauled in 99 passes, taking 14 for touchdowns...He was named to the CFL and CFLPA All-star teams...With his team-mate Ben Cahoon he combined for 3,318 receiving yards, a CFL record... Copeland now sits in second place behind Cahoon for the most receptions (99) and the most receiving touchdowns (14) in a regular season in Alouettes history. Attended Dallas Cowboys camp...returned to play in five games with Montreal...recorded 19 receptions for 368 yards and four touchdowns...he was astonishing in the Grey Cup game where he scored twice, once on a 47-yard pass from Anthony Calvillo and the other on a 47-yard kickoff return to seal the Alouettes’ victory. Copeland caught 72 passes for 972 yards and nine touchdowns for the XFL-champion Los Angeles Xtreme. Played for the Barcelona Dragons...recorded 74 receptions for 821 yards and six touchdowns...his best performance was 19 receptions for 174 yards. College In two years with the Tennessee Volunteers, Copeland caught 131 passes for 1,300 yards. Other Jeremaine majored in Urban Studies and likes to play basketball.
