Jerald Sowell (Jerald Monye Sowell) was born on January 21, 1974 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After going to high school at Baker (LA), Sowell attended Tulane University. Sowell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the New York Jets. He has played for the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 2003 was Jerald Sowell's best year, as he hauled in 47 receptions.
