Born on September 30, 1910 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Jennings Poindexter (Chester Jennings Poindexter) played for the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 2 year career. Poindexter broke into the bigs on September 15, 1936 with the Boston Red Sox.
