Born on December 14, 1961 in Ventura, California, Jeff Robinson (Jeffrey Mark Robinson) played for the Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 6 year career. Robinson broke into the bigs on April 12, 1987 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 5.37 ERA in 127.1 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jeff Robinson's best season was 1988, when he posted a 2.98 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 114 batters.
