Born on April 12, 1976 in Wheeling, West Virginia, Jeff Wallace (Jeffrey Allen Wallace) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 4 year career. Wallace broke into the bigs on August 21, 1997 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.40 ERA in 50.1 innings pitched in 2001, his rookie year.
